Privacy Policy

justIssued is invoicing software for solo operators. This policy explains what we collect when you use justIssued (the website and application), why we collect it, and how long we keep it. It applies to the justIssued product only. We do not process card payments between you and your clients.

What we collect

Account data: name, email, and a hashed password. Business profile: legal or trade name, address, phone, tax ID if you add one, currency, payment instructions, and an optional logo file. Product data: clients you save, invoices, line items, statuses, and share tokens for public invoice links. Billing data: if you start a Paid trial or subscribe, Stripe stores the card you provide at Checkout (a card is required for the 7-day trial); we store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and status (including trialing) so we know whether you are on Free or Paid. Server logs may include IP address and user agent for security.

How we use it

We use this data to run the product: authenticate you, generate invoices, host share links, email an invoice when you ask us to (Paid), and charge the justIssued $12/month subscription after a 7-day trial (a card is required at checkout; cancel in 7 days and you pay $0). We do not sell personal data. We do not use your invoice contents to train models. Public share links are reachable by anyone who has the URL; treat the link as confidential.

Processors

Stripe processes justIssued subscription payments. If email sending is enabled, Resend or your configured SMTP provider delivers messages you choose to send. Hosting and database providers store the application and your records. Those processors see only what they need to perform that job.

Retention and your rights

We keep account and invoice data while the account exists. You can request export or deletion of your account by emailing the address on your invoice profile or the operator who runs this instance. After deletion we remove application records we control, except what we must keep for tax, dispute, or legal reasons (for example Stripe billing history). You may object to processing, ask for correction, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis (such as optional marketing, which justIssued does not send by default).

Cookies

Strictly necessary: a session cookie keeps you signed in. You cannot use the workspace without it. We do not use advertising cookies.

Optional analytics: if you accept the cookie banner, we may load Plausible and/or Google Analytics (only if this instance is configured with those tools). They count page views so we know which public pages are useful. You can choose Necessary only. Analytics scripts are not loaded until you accept. Public invoice and estimate share links do not show the banner and do not load analytics.

Children

justIssued is for business invoicing. It is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised policy.
