Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of justIssued, invoicing software for one operator. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
justIssued lets you save clients, create numbered invoices, share a public link, print a PDF, and mark invoices sent, paid, or void. Free accounts may save up to three clients and create unlimited invoices for those clients. Paid is $12 per month for one user and adds unlimited clients, logo, tax ID, a how-to-pay block, currency label, emailing invoices from the app, and duplicating invoices. Outstanding invoices stay available on every plan. justIssued is not an accounting suite, payroll product, or payments company.
Subscriptions
Paid starts with a 7-day trial. A card is required at Stripe Checkout. You will not be charged during the trial. Cancel in the Stripe customer portal (Business → Plan → Manage billing) before the trial ends and you pay $0; canceling a trial stops the upcoming invoice. After the trial, Paid is $12 per month as Stripe Checkout presents at the time you subscribe. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. Cancel in the portal to stop renewal. Access to Paid features continues until the end of a paid period unless Stripe reports the subscription as canceled or unpaid. Canceling during a trial, or canceling at period end while still trialing, returns the account to Free. Fees are in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. We do not refund partial months except where required by law.
Client payments
justIssued does not collect money from your clients, does not run Stripe Connect, and does not put a Pay now button on invoices. How-to-pay details (e-transfer, bank, PayPal URL) are information you print for the client. You are responsible for receiving and reconciling those payments.
Your content and invoices
You own the content you enter (business details, clients, invoices). You grant us a licence to host and display it so the product can function, including public share pages. You must have the right to store that information. You are responsible for tax IDs, invoice numbering for your jurisdiction, and whether a document meets GST, VAT, or other rules. justIssued is a tool, not tax advice.
Acceptable use
Do not use justIssued for fraud, spam, or invoices you are not entitled to send. Do not probe, overload, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law. We may suspend accounts that abuse share links, email sending, or billing.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We aim for reasonable uptime but do not guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost profits, lost invoices, or indirect damages, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for justIssued in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including session cookies and optional analytics, and is part of these terms. Sign-up is protected against automated abuse (rate limits and, when configured, a human check).
Changes and law
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. If a change is material we will note the new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have mandatory consumer rights in your home province or country.
